About Concurrent
Training works better when everything connects.
Concurrent is being built around a simple idea: running, strength and recovery should work together in one training system.
Too often, running plans and strength programmes sit in separate places. Each can make sense on its own, but neither necessarily understands the demands of the other.
Concurrent is designed to bring those pieces together. It considers the training week as a whole, helps manage the balance between sessions and develops a plan around your goals and recovery.
What guides the product
A few principles sit behind every part of Concurrent.
The aim is not to add more noise or another collection of disconnected workouts. It is to make the training picture easier to understand and act on.
The whole picture
Running and strength place demands on the same person. They should be planned with each other in mind, not treated as separate training lives.
Clear decisions
The Training Engine is responsible for training recommendations. Its decisions follow consistent rules and can be explained.
Recovery matters
Progress is not about doing more every day. Training needs to respond to workload, recovery and the time available to adapt.
Built around your goal
A plan should develop over time around what you are working towards, your experience and the training you can realistically complete.
How it works
The engine decides. The AI explains.
The Concurrent Training Engine is the source of truth for training recommendations. It uses consistent rules to assess the plan, completed training, workload, recovery and goals. The AI Coach helps explain those decisions and answer questions. It does not independently make or apply training decisions.
This separation matters. You should be able to understand why a session is being kept, modified, replaced or changed to rest, rather than receiving a recommendation with no explanation.
